BCforward seeks an Automation Tester to join our team in Cincinnati. You will design, implement, and scale automated testing for data platforms and applications, focusing on APIs, web services, and data pipelines. Leverage Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and Python within CI/CD workflows.

The role emphasizes collaboration in Agile teams, building robust test frameworks, and delivering comprehensive test plans across functional and integration scopes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building automation frameworks for APIs, web services, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with XML, SOAP UI, and web services testing.
• Strong skills in Selenium WebDriver/GRID, JUnit or TestNG, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Programming proficiency in Java and Python, with knowledge of C++.
• Experience with JavaScript technologies such as Node.js and AngularJS.
• Experience testing data movement using Kafka and working with big data tools.
• Demonstrated BDD test development using Cucumber with Gherkin.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Scrum or Kanban practices and ceremonies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to provide technical direction across design, development, and testing.
