Job summary

A technology solutions firm seeks an experienced SDET manager to lead QA and SDET resources in developing automated tests and implementing test engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation tools like Selenium and HP UFT, proficiency in Agile methodologies, and strong SQL skills. Knowledge of test frameworks and build tools is essential. This role is only open to W2 GC or US citizens, and candidates must pass a background check.

Job Description

SDET manager manages and leads QA and SDET resources during application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, automation framework design and development, automated script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate will manage the effort to implement test engineering best practices and solutions and may also be required to train end users.

Expertise in developing automated tests for Web, SOA/WS, DW/ETL, JAVA backend applications

Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall software development models

Expertise in automation tools: Selenium (primary), HP UFT

Expertise in test frameworks: Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito

Proficiency in applying TDD, ATDD/BDD

Proficiency with build tools: SVN, Crucible, Maven, Jenkins

Strong SQL skills in Oracle

Strong Unix and Windows skills

Experience with project management tools: Rally, JIRA, HP ALM

Strong analytical and problem solving.
