Job summary

BCforward is seeking an ATM Software Test Engineer to join our lab testing team in Charlotte, NC on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on manual/functional testing of ATM software and UI, with Agile tooling such as Jira, and regression testing across software, hardware and firmware.

The ideal candidate will plan and execute tests, document defects with due diligence, and collaborate with partners for UAT and acceptance in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Functional/manual testing expertise, including UI testing and data manipulation.
• Understanding of Agile frameworks and experience using Agile tools for test management and defect tracking.
• Proficiency with Jira for test case management and defect workflows.
• Experience testing devices in a lab environment and working with hardware components.
• Strong curiosity and tenacity with the ability to ask key questions and push back appropriately.
• Team-oriented communication and timely reporting; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, document and execute regression tests for ATM software releases.

We are seeking a ATM Software Test Engineer - Manual / Functional Testing to join our team supporting ATM platform testing in a lab environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional/manual testing, UI testing, and Agile tools such as Jira and a proven ability to plan and execute regression testing, document defects with due diligence, and collaborate with partners for UAT and acceptance.

Role Logistics

• Onsite role in Charlotte, NC. Five days per week. Onsite day one.
• Start month targeted for November or December.
• Interview format is video.
• Glider ID verification required.
• Lab setting with shared workspace.
