Job summary

Crane Company in Twinsburg, Ohio is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and implement testing methods for harsh environment sensors used in nuclear reactors, radiation monitoring, oil & gas exploration, and natural gas turbines.

You will automate lab equipment, build front-end interfaces, design back-end databases for data storage, and support daily production as well as large projects that improve quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/software/computer science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in test or software roles.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack development and sustaining applications supporting the manufacturing process.
• Design, qualify, implement, and maintain calibration or test systems with cross-functional teams.
• Improve testing capability and documentation and provide training as needed.
• Lead improvements in test setups, test automation, and trend monitoring.
• Own new equipment upgrades from purchase through installation.
• Support NPI programs from concept to manufacturing implementation.
• Contribute to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) projects.
