Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and implement testing methods for harsh environment sensors used in nuclear reactors, radiation monitoring, oil & gas exploration, and natural gas turbines in Twinsburg, Ohio.

You will contribute to full-stack applications that support the manufacturing process, design calibration and test systems, automate tests, and participate in NPI programs and HSE initiatives to improve quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or CS field or equivalent experience.
Experience with testing electrical systems and software is expected.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deliver on schedule.

Responsibilities

Full-stack development and sustaining applications supporting manufacturing.
Design, qualification, implementation, and maintenance of calibration/test systems.
Improve testing capability, document results, and train others.
Lead test setups, automation, and trend monitoring.
Own new equipment upgrades from purchase through installation.
Contribute to NPI programs from concept to manufacturing.
Support Health, Safety & Environmental initiatives.
