Job Description Automation Test Engineer

Experience Required: 5 to 6 years total QA experience, with minimum 3+ years in Automation testing with Java & Selenium

Core Requirements:

• Manual Testing Expertise: Strong skills in test design, execution, and defect management
• Automation Testing: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium with Java
• Frameworks: Proficient in TestNG, JUnit, and BDD tools such as Cucumber
• Framework Design: Experience in building and maintaining data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid frameworks
• Design Patterns: Strong understanding and application of Page Object Model (POM) and Page Factory
• Build Tools: Hands-on experience with Maven
• CI/CD Integration: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for test automation integration
• Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker
• Test Management & Reporting: Experience with tools such as JIRA and Zephyr
• Cross-Browser & Platform Testing: Experience with Selenium Grid
• Development Methodology: Exposure to Agile/Scrum-based projects

Nice to Have:

• Basic understanding of Performance Testing using tools like JMeter
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced)
