Ideal Innovations, Inc. in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests that improve software quality. You will build robust automation frameworks using Selenium or Katalon Studio and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly, a BS with 4+ years (MS with 2+ welcomed), strong Java or Python, and experience with AWS. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure reliable releases.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI with at least a CI polygraph.
• BS degree with 4+ years or MS with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Experience creating, authoring, executing and documenting test cases and result sets in agile cadences.
• Hands-on design and implementation of robust automation frameworks using Selenium or Katalon Studio.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python to write efficient, scalable test scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub) and integrating tests into pipelines.
• Direct experience with software performance testing practices.
• Experience working/test in Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team to execute test cases alongside development.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to improve software quality.
• Build automation frameworks and scalable test scripts using Selenium or Katalon Studio with Java or Python.
• Integrate automated testing with Jenkins, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to support repeatable releases.
• Test custom applications in an AWS cloud environment across functional, regression, end-to-end, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to align testing with User Story Acceptance Criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation.
• Develop automated test cases using GUI/COTS tools and document test results.
• Leverage DevOps practices to ensure repeatability and configuration management of tests.
• Develop end-to-end functionality narratives using JIRA/Confluence and support performance testing with tools like JMeter.
