Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College is seeking an Automation Technology Instructor to provide associate-level instruction, develop syllabi, and assess student progress. The role includes maintaining records, mentoring adjuncts, and meeting accreditation standards, with travel across CGTC locations as needed.

The selected candidate will teach varied formats (face-to-face or online) within a 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Technology or closely related field is required.
• Technical Certificate in Automation Technology with two years of relevant work experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Teach associate-level courses and develop syllabi and lesson plans.
• Maintain grade books and accurate records; adhere to course syllabus and department policies.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and lead instructional activities as needed.
• Complete required reports and maintain inventory for assigned properties.
• Travel within CGTC service area; may teach on multiple campuses and online.
• Commit to professional development and alignment with accreditation standards.
