Job summary

Novolex seeks a skilled Automation Technician to maintain and troubleshoot thermoforming and extrusion automation equipment. You will perform basic troubleshooting, set-up, preventative maintenance, and on-call coverage, working in tight spaces and on ladders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of automation experience, strong PLC/electrical skills, and a HS Diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is a plus. This on-site role in Kentucky offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalency (preferred associate’s degree).
• 5+ years automation technician experience in Thermoforming and Extrusion industries.
• Analytical, problem solving, and strong electrical and PLC programming, technical skills including mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment in Thermoforming and Extrusion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment related processing issues.
• On-call as needed by department and able to be flexible with schedule.
• Must possess the ability to work in tight spaces and on ladders/platforms.
