Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineering Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support to the Automation Engineering team, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated manufacturing equipment used in the production of precision fiber optic connectivity products.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Quality, and outside vendors to maximize equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two or more years supporting automated assembly equipment in production.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with industrial robotics, PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, sensors, and vision systems.
• Knowledge of safety practices, LOTO, and machine guarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation, startup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
• Diagnose root causes to minimize downtime and coordinate repairs.
• Support preventive maintenance to improve reliability and life cycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams.
• Document maintenance actions and update work instructions.
