Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Automation Technician for its Manufacturing Automation team in the Costa Mesa, CA area. You will deploy automation equipment, configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems, and diagnose issues to keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on experience with precision assembly hardware and the ability to train technicians on tool safety and handling. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing with precision assembly systems.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and troubleshooting Atlas Copco Power Focus controllers and MicroTorque systems.
• Proven experience setting up workstations, routing cables, and physically deploying assembly line hardware.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; US Person due to export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, mount, wire, and integrate automation equipment across production lines.
• Program and configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems to exact engineering specifications.
• Diagnose production floor issues and optimize tightening programs (Psets).
• Train manufacturing technicians and operators on the proper handling and safety of smart tools.
• Maintain tooling health and calibration records to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
