Job summary

New Pig Corporation in Pennsylvania seeks an Automation Technician to support three locations (Tipton, Duncansville, Altoona) by advancing manufacturing automation. You will troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, read electrical schematics, design control panels, and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading automation projects from concept through installation and qualification, and supporting other manufacturing engineering initiatives with a controls perspective.

Qualifications

2 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting ability including Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/5000 and RSView/FactoryTalk View Studio.

Responsibilities

Participate in advanced manufacturing projects to drive automation of processes.
Work with diverse machine control and networking applications.
Troubleshoot equipment across three locations to support production lines.
Lead automation projects from concept through installation and qualification within budget.
Support other manufacturing engineering projects from a controls perspective.
Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environment, and Quality Standards.
