Meds.com is seeking an Automation Technician in Deerfield Beach, FL to maintain our fast-growing facility and support pharmacy operations. This hands-on role covers maintenance, vendor coordination, and logistics to keep pharmacy, lab, and shipping running smoothly.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee equipment like lab hoods and climate-control systems, and handle high-volume shipping with accuracy and urgency. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities coordination, maintenance management, or operations logistics.
• Pharmacy/medical lab/food manufacturing experience is a big plus.
• Proficiency with CMMS and inventory systems.
• Regulatory mindset and emphasis on clean, organized environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Facility & Equipment Maintenance: manage routine maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lab equipment.
• Vendor Management: primary contact for contractors and technicians, ensure safe work practices.
• Emergency Response: act as first responder to facility issues to minimize downtime.
• Inventory Control: monitor non-medical supplies and prevent stock-outs.
• Asset Tracking: maintain logs of laboratory assets, ensure calibration/servicing.
• Cost Optimization: review costs and vendor contracts for efficiency.
• Inbound Logistics: verify shipments and storage, manage cold chain if needed.
• Outbound Logistics: support high-volume shipping to carriers.
• Waste Management: ensure compliant disposal per OSHA/EPA guidelines.
