Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks a mechatronics technician to manage and support material handling automation projects at the Innovation Center in Bolingbrook, IL. You will maintain equipment, conduct tours, enable customer testing, and collaborate with teams to implement automated systems.

Responsibilities include delivering subsystems on time, keeping detailed project records, following Daifuku standards, and traveling up to 20% to support North American sites.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience as a mechatronics technician, preferably with conveyors or material handling systems.
• Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in the Innovation Center (Bolingbrook, IL).
• Facilitate and conduct tours of the Innovation Center.
• Support customer product tests on equipment in the Innovation Center.
• Execute material handling equipment projects involving structures, conveyors, machinery, and controls.
• Collaborate with execution and development teams to implement automated systems.
• Deliver subsystems on time and within budget; ensure machine rate and reliability.
