Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Automation Technician for the Camilla, GA plant. The role requires troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems, plus support for system installations and modifications.

Candidates should have an AS degree in electronics, 4+ years in automation or industrial maintenance, and be proficient with SAP Maintenance. Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred. On-site 1st shift with travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or closely related field.
• 4+ years of automation/industrial maintenance experience.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Proficient in SAP Maintenance and documentation practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Assist engineering and plant staff with specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems.
• Provide technical support for all phases of the operation.
• Communicate effectively with all team members at all levels.
