Advanced Assembly, Inc. in Madison, WI is seeking an Automation Technician I to join our second-shift team. This entry-level role involves running, maintaining, and adjusting programs for circuit board assembly equipment.

The position offers a competitive starting wage with a full benefits package and a $1,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days. Associate degree in electronics or equivalent required; Excel/Word skills expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics, Computer Programming, PC Repair, Automotive, CNC, or related field.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• General knowledge of machinery; ability to take apart and reassemble components.
• Knowledge of Printed Circuit board automation is a plus.
• Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word skills.
• Ability to distinguish colors and fine circuit details.

Responsibilities

• Run, maintain, and fine-tune programs for equipment used in circuit board assembly.
• Assist with unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and prototypes as needed.
• Monitor production, adjust machines to meet quality standards, and log results.
• Fill daily records and logs and provide general department support.
