Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking an Electronic Technician I to program and troubleshoot control systems such as PLCs, servo and AC drives, HMIs, and interface modules. The role requires reading electrical drawings, leading small projects, and applying problem-solving in a team setting.

The candidate should have an associate degree in maintenance or 10 years related experience, with at least 1 year in control systems and electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Associate degree in maintenance or 10 years' related experience.
Minimum 1 year experience with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
CMMS MP2 preferred; GE & Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo drives, HMIs familiar.
Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, servo drives, AC/DC drives, interfaces, and HMIs.
Read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
Lead projects/work groups; coordinate results and communicate progress.
Multi-task with minimal supervision; apply problem-solving tools.
Identify and implement continuous improvement following change management.
