Job summary
Bausch + Lomb in Greenville, SC seeks an Electronic Technician I to program and troubleshoot control systems such as PLCs, servo drives, HMIs, and related interfaces. Reading electrical drawings is required, along with strong troubleshooting abilities.
The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in maintenance or 10 years maintenance experience with a HS diploma or GED, plus 1 year in control systems. This 2nd shift role pays $34.60/hr with a $0.75 shift differential and includes comprehensive
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanical background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC drives, and HMIs.
- Read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
- Lead projects and/or work groups; multi-task; Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects following change management procedures.
