Job summary

Advanced Assembly, Inc. is seeking an Automation Technician I to join our Madison, WI team. This entry-level role involves running, maintaining, and fine-tuning programs for circuit board assembly equipment in the assigned area.

Second shift: Mon-Thu, 2:45 PM - 12:45 AM. A starting wage is offered with a full benefits package, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of probation. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in electronics or related fields and strong English

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Electronics or related fields (as listed).
Relative experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English (verbal and written).
General knowledge of machinery and the ability to take apart and reassemble components.
Knowledge of Printed Circuit board automation is a plus.
Intermediate computer skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Run, maintain, and fine-tune programs for equipment used in circuit board assembly.
Monitor the quality of products and adjust machines to meet quality standards.
Assist other technicians with unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and prototypes as necessary.
Monitor production on the line and log results; resolve issues as they arise.
Work on the line to fill in for Machine Operators when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
