Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or similar field preferred
• Experience in automotive repair, industrial maintenance, machine assembly, manufacturing, automation, robotics, or related technical trades
• Ability to perform electrical wiring, crimping, cable assembly, and mechanical assembly work
• Basic understanding of blueprints, electrical components, sensors, PLCs, motor drives, and pneumatic systems
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, calipers, and other measuring equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a willingness to travel to customer locations after training

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot custom automation equipment and robotic systems
• Perform startup, testing, diagnostics, debugging, and repairs on electro-mechanical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, job orders, and bills of materials
• Work with sensors, PLC-controlled equipment, motor drives, pneumatics, and vision systems
• Test assemblies using measuring and diagnostic tools, including multimeters and precision instruments
• Assist with machine installations, customer training, and field service support after training
