Automation Technician - HIRING IMMEDIATELY - Bridgeview, IL

• 5+ years automation technician experience within the Thermoforming and Extrusion industry.

Compensation:

• Pay Range is $31.88 to $39.64 - paid weekly (additional $1 per hour for night shift hours)
• 2-2-3 schedule (7pm to 7am)
• Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases

The facility operates 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on automation equipment.
• Maintain, set-up, and perform preventive maintenance on automation equipment in Thermoforming and Extrusion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot processing issues related to equipment.
• Be on-call as needed and flexible with schedules.
• Work in tight spaces and on ladders or platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, electrical, PLC programming, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organization, professionalism, safety, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, and innovation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of automation technician experience in Thermoforming and Extrusion industries.
