Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years relevant experience; OR a 2-year associate's degree in related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation and controls engineering.
• Manufacturing, assembly, and/or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots automation system issues including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
• Collaborates with engineers and peers to program PLCs, robots, and vision systems.
• Performs routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on automated equipment.
• Maintains documentation and reports system performance.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards for automated systems.
