Job summary

Producers Midstream in Dallas, TX is seeking a qualified Instrument and Electrical Technician to maintain the electrical, communication, and instrumentation systems across gathering sites, compressor stations, and processing facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will calibrate sensors, troubleshoot PLCs such as GE/Allen Bradley, respond to alarms, support plant maintenance, and participate in safety programs while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year Instrumentation/Electrical degree or five years experience in I/E.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate shutdowns, controls, transmitters, recorders, chromatographs, analyzers, and measurement facilities.
• Assist in servicing compressors, expander, plant compressors and related equipment.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective actions across the gathering system, compressors, and plants.
• Maintain required trainings, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain valid driver's license and reside within reporting location distance (60–65 miles).
• Participate in safety programs and communicate with control centers and other groups.
• Comply with company safety policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Work shifts and overtime as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
