Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks an Automation Technician to support highly automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot PLC-driven systems, maintain robotics, sensors, and motor controls, and work with engineers to optimize performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with automation hardware, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. You will respond to downtime, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to ongoing improvements on the production

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting in automation environments.
• Proficient with industrial robots, conveyors, sensors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with VFDs, drives, and electrical control panels.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled automation systems.
• Maintain and support robots, conveyors, sensors, and motor controls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with VFDs, drives, and electrical control panels.
• Partner with automation engineers on system improvements and optimization.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated production lines.
• Respond to equipment downtime and drive root cause analysis.
