Adecco is seeking an Automation Technician for its NJ client, a global leader in interconnect solutions. The role focuses on troubleshooting automated systems, programming and optimizing PLCs, robotics, and related machinery to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or trade school in electro-technology and 3+ years in manufacturing or high-volume distribution, with experience in Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs and a solid grasp of GMP/OSHA standards.

Formación

• Associates degree or trade school in electro-technology.
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing plant or high-volume distribution center.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Understanding of GMP and OSHA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot automated systems, PLCs, mechanical equipment, and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Program, modify, maintain, and optimize PLC systems, robotics, and automated machinery.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations to ensure operational reliability.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel while supporting complex automation troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Document automation projects, assess safety risks, and develop solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Our client is a global market leader in manufacturing interconnect solutions. Due to growth, seeking an Automation Technician of its plant in NJ. Primary responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot automated systems, PLCs, mechanical equipment, and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Program, modify, maintain, and optimize PLC systems, robotics, and automated machinery.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations to ensure operational reliability.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel while supporting complex automation troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Document automation projects, assess safety risks, and develop solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Position reports to Manufacturing Supervisor.

Ideal candidates for Automation Technician will possess the following:

• Associates degree and/or trade school in electro-technology or similar
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing plant or high-volume distribution center
• Experience with PLC’s (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• Understanding of GMP and OSHA standards

Pay up to $45/hr (+ shift differential). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.
