Job Title: Automation Technician

Job Location: Mukwonago, WI

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay: Up to $27.00/hr.

Shift Structure: Night Shift, 6:20 PM - 6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

The role of the Automation Technician:

• Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems, resolving all problems.
• Design and implement basic modifications to resolve machine problems.
• Dismantle, inspect, and overhaul equipment as required by preventive maintenance programs and production schedules.
• Document repair and maintenance activities and quality checks.
• Participate in new equipment design and setup.
• Perform daily systems checks to verify proper operation of all quality checks.
• Maintain housekeeping standards by keeping storage areas organized.
• Build crates for equipment relocation.
• Perform conversions on assembly, lining, and closing machines.

About the Automation Technician:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical background, including fabrication, welding, auto/car repair, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in machining and fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding, drill press, lathe, milling machine, and surface grinder operation.
• Ability to interpret mechanical prints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
