Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Hanover, PA is seeking an Automation Technician to help maintain and optimize automated material handling systems. You will troubleshoot conveyors, ASRS cranes, and shuttle systems while performing electrical and mechanical repairs on PLC-controlled equipment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach in a safety-conscious environment with OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting up to 480V AC systems.
• Understanding of DC control circuits and reading electrical schematics.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and tools.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Windows and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

Our client, an industry leader in industrial solutions, is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technician, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting maintenance and automation systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Technician

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $20 to $30 DOE

Shift: Shift 3 - 6:30am to 6:30pm Saturday through Monday; Shift 4 - 6:30pm to 6:30am Saturday through Monday
