Job description

Are you experienced working on complex automation equipment? We have the job for you!

Overview

You will be the technical "go-to" specialist for our clients' Automation Lab Systems product line. You will train and support internal service personnel and third-party partners.

Location: Home office based in the US

Duties Include:

1. Monitor and guide the Regional Field Service Team members' quality focus and success
2. Maintain expert technical knowledge of all Automation products by participating in training as needed
3. Document equipment failures to be addressed by manufacturing, understanding the relationship problem/cause/solution
4. Maintain highly effective technical communication methods with FSEs and 3rd Party Service Providers
5. Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostics utilizing various software, such as video call software, phone service, and teleservice
6. Support the sale and proper execution of Preventative Maintenance (PM) services

Ideal Skills/Knowledge:

1. BA/BS preferred but not required if the candidate has equivalent industry experience
2. At least 3 years of experience working with automated equipment, such as design, manufacturing, or troubleshooting
3. In-depth, hands-on experience with lab robotics or automation systems is preferred
4. Able to travel across the US, roughly 50%
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain solutions to various technical levels
