Job summary

LSI SOLUTIONS® in Victor, NY is seeking an Automation Technician I or II to support production operations, automation projects, and maintenance of machines and processes. The role involves automation, machine vision, robotics, and ERP-based data collection to improve manufacturing performance.

Ideal candidates may have 0–3 or 3–7 years in industrial automation, with familiarity in electrical diagrams, CAD tools, and collaboration with Engineers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• AAS Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent documented project work history.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience with industrial systems and technology.
• Knowledge of medical device technologies preferred.
• 3-7 years of relevant work experience with industrial systems and technology application.

Responsibilities

• Support automation development projects with concept testing, programming and data collection.
• Assist IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for automated equipment.
• Analyze test results using data manipulation and statistics.
• Assist in construction and assembly of systems and fixtures.
• Collaborate with suppliers on system concept and problem resolution.
• Refine PLC, HMI, Vision, and Robot programs with Engineers.
