Job summary

Cartamundi Automation Technician positions support the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of high-speed automated production equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, sensors, and vision systems while ensuring equipment uptime and providing hands-on training to operators.

The role emphasizes safety, LOTO procedures, and collaboration with engineering and production to drive process improvements and reliability.

Qualifications

Technical training or experience in industrial automation, mechatronics, robotics, or electro‑mechanical systems.
Understanding of PLC architecture, sensors, and machine control systems.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and automation schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
Experience supporting automated production systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot automation equipment, including PLCs/HMIs/robots/servo systems.
Maintain and improve automated sequences and equipment uptime.
Train operators on automation equipment and safe practices.
Document maintenance work and root‑cause findings and support safety compliance.
