Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of automated material handling systems in our Colorado facility. Prior material handling experience is helpful but not required; strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.

You will diagnose problems, perform preventative maintenance, document activities, and help manage inventory and safety practices. A valid passport is required for travel to Canada and Mexico.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience working as an automotive technician, HVAC system, elevator repair, electrician, building maintenance or experience working with machinery or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years working in material handling industry preferred but not required
• Experience with CMMS platform a plus
• Working knowledge of handheld and power tools and how to use them
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and basic electrical defects
• Ability to interpret both mechanical drawings
• Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of safe industrial work practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to work in and contribute to a team setting
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
• Ability to follow maintenance manuals and procedures to repair equipment
• Ability to assist in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all material handling equipment and components is a plus

• Assist in inventory management and spare parts tracking.
• Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.
