Job summary

Position Summary

Assistswith scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair ofall Automated Material Handlingsystems.Previousmaterial handling system experienceis notrequiredfor this position.

Responsibilities

Usesadvanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
Diagnoses mechanical and basic electrical problems using technical drawings.
Minimize downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenance.
Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment.
Assistin troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
Document maintenance activities and repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Assistin inventory management and spare parts tracking.
Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.
Mustpossessa passport along with the ability to travel to Canada and Mexico.

Qualifications

3 years’ experience working as an automotive technician, HVAC system, elevator repair, electrician, building maintenance or experience working with machinery or equivalent experience

1-2yearsworking in material handling industry preferredbut notrequired

Experience with CMMS platforma plus
Working knowledge of handheld and power tools and how to use them
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and basic electrical defects
Ability to interpret both mechanical drawings
Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
Knowledge of safe industrial work practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills
