Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a maintenance technician to assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of automated material handling equipment. Previous material handling experience is not required but beneficial.

Must be able to travel to Canada and Mexico with a passport, and perform safety-compliant procedures. The role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, routine inspections, and documenting maintenance activities while supporting inventory management and using CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in automotive, HVAC, elevator repair or related field.
• 1-2 years in material handling preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Uses advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
• Diagnoses mechanical and basic electrical issues from drawings.
• Minimize downtime with preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment.

Position Summary

Assistswith scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair ofall Automated Material Handlingsystems.Previousmaterial handling system experienceis notrequiredfor this position.

Responsibilities

• Usesadvanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
• Diagnoses mechanical and basic electrical problems using technical drawings.
• Minimize downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment.
• Assistin troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Assistin inventory management and spare parts tracking.
• Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.
• Mustpossessa passport along with the ability to travel to Canada and Mexico.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience working as an automotive technician, HVAC system, elevator repair, electrician, building maintenance or experience working with machinery or equivalent experience

• 1-2yearsworking in material handling industry preferredbut notrequired

• Experience with CMMS platforma plus
• Working knowledge of handheld and power tools and how to use them
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and basic electrical defects
• Ability to interpret both mechanical drawings
• Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of safe industrial work practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to workinand contributetoa team setting
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
• Abilityto follow maintenance manuals and procedures to repair equipment
• Abilitytoassistin the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all material handling equipment and componentsis a plus

Hourly Rate: $25.00-$38.00
