Job summary

Symetri seeks a Technology Consultant to lead the implementation and customization of the RULER configurator for manufacturing clients, focusing on advanced automation of engineering and quoting workflows.

You will be a technical expert, driving innovation, collaborating with clients, and mentoring junior teammates while working within Visual Studio and Git-based workflows to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, including iLogic and Inventor API or experience in C#, .NET, HTML5, JavaScript and Visual Studio.
• Proven track record of developing Inventor add-ins and automating CAD models/drawings.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop custom Ruler Customizations to automate engineering models and drawings.
• Extend and enhance the RULER framework using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to translate needs into scalable automation solutions.
• Work within Visual Studio, manage codebases with Git, and contribute to development lifecycle.
• Integrate with CAD/CAM platforms, primarily Autodesk Inventor, to streamline workflows.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical excellence.
