Special-Lite is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain CET Designer extensions and Inventor automation. You will connect Tacton CPQ to Autodesk Inventor, coding parametric models and drawings from configured products.

The role focuses on CET Designer, CM language, and API integrations, with on-site or hybrid work in Decatur, MI. Strong OO skills and a proactive, self-starting mindset are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in C#, VB.NET, C++, Java or any OO language.
• Strong grasp of OO concepts and applying them to apps.
• Willingness to learn Configura CM language and CET Designer.
• Experience with Git and Jira for source control and tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy CET Designer extensions (2D/3D with cost and logic).
• Maintain CET code base for reliability, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
• Develop Autodesk Inventor add-ins to generate parametric models from CPQ data.
• Build automation-ready Inventor models and reusable components.
• Integrate Tacton CPQ with Inventor and other business systems via REST/XML.
• Read and extend existing code from partners; write clean, documented code.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Manage code/assets under Git and track work in Jira; work in an Agile team.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide user documentation and training.
