Job summary

RoviSys seeks an entry-level engineer to design and develop automation systems and electrical controls interfacing with manufacturing equipment. You will work with a team of engineers to document current systems, define control schemes, and connect controllers, HMIs, and field instruments. Travel to client plants is expected to assess and document systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on development, and growth into leadership of a project team as experience grows within the company.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Degree in a Technical Field related to Engineering, Controls, or Systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Relevant Co-op experience and manufacturing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Travel to client plants to assess and document existing systems and connected equipment.
• Use P&ID, Equipment Lists, I/O Lists and Process Descriptions to define control schemes.
• Network customer systems, controllers, HMIs, field instruments and process skids for integrated control.
