Qualifications

• Experience with Makino’s product families and Fanuc CNC controls.
• Knowledge of NC programming constructs for Fanuc controls.
• Strong Windows OS configuration, installation, recovery and support.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking and Ethernet cabling.
• Familiarity with IT tasks and network domain architectures.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and travel up to 70% after training.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install and support Makino digital products and cell controller software.
• Set up Makino machining centers connected to digital products and load NC programs.
• Provide on-site and phone support for existing installations.
• Define and refine customer requirements for automated machining systems.
• Test and debug new Makino software products prior to field release.
• Deliver training on Makino digital products at office or customer sites.
• Help sales staff with demonstrations and technical questions as needed.
• Create installation and configuration documents per MAP procedures.
