Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Warren, OH is seeking an Automation Systems SME to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of autonomous vehicle systems in a high-velocity distribution center.

You will ensure tight integration with WMS/WCS, monitor system health, and drive uptime while collaborating with maintenance teams and operators. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in logistics or related fields, with 2+ years WMS experience and strong analytical and end-user support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related industry.
• 2+ years WMS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, calibration, and improvements of autonomous vehicle systems (AGVs/AMRs) with WMS/WCS integration.
• Monitor and maintain AGV/AMR software, uptime, fault response, and battery diagnostics.
• Provide guidance to maintenance teams and programmers; conduct root cause analyses and corrective actions.
