Job summary

TEST-FUCHS, a global aerospace test equipment leader, seeks a software engineer at its Brecksville, Ohio location. You will translate customer requirements into software solutions for test systems and realize test sequences in our standard software platform.

You will commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Strong PLC/automation and software affinity are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering or Electrical/Electronic/Systems/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years on‑the‑job experience
• Minimum 2 years in mechatronics/automation solutions with strong software affinity
• Experience in PLC development; NI TestStand preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements to software solutions and concepts from planning to realization to testing
• Development of Software solutions and programs for Test-Systems; realize Test-Sequences in our Standard Software
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment
• Ensure data integrity, change management and compliance with customer requirements
• Cooperate with customer support team for handling needs

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements to software solutions/concepts from concepts to planning and realization to testing, consider customer to requirements
• Development of Software solutions and software programs for Test-Systems -> Realize Test-Sequences in our Standard Software
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment
• Ensure data integrity, change management and compliance with customer requirements
• Cooperate with customer support team for handling customer support/service needs
• University degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering, Electrical-/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years on job experience
• Minimum. 2 years experience with Mechatronics / Automation solutions
• Strong software affinity
• Experience in PLC development
• Experience in NI Test Stand (preferred)
• Ideal good understanding of electrics, pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical systems - Automation Technology
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Interested to be on the product and managing code in interaction with real equipment and process
