TEST-FUCHS GmbH, based in Ohio, is seeking an Automation / Systems Engineer in Brecksville to transform customer requirements into robust software for aerospace test equipment. The role focuses on planning, development of test sequences, and integration with real equipment.

You will advance PLC-based automation, contribute to product development, and ensure data integrity while supporting customers on-site. A strong engineering background and practical automation experience are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (Aerospace, Electrical/Electronic, Systems, or Mechanical).
• Minimum 3 years on-the-job experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience with mechatronics/automation solutions.
• Strong software affinity.
• Experience in PLC development.
• Good understanding of electrics, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and comfortable working on real equipment.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements to software solutions from concepts to planning and realization to testing.
• Develop software solutions and programs for Test-Systems and PLC sequences.
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment.
• Ensure data integrity, change management and compliance with customer requirements.
• Cooperate with customer support team for handling customer support needs.
