Job summary

H 2 O Innovation is seeking an Automation Support Service Engineer to join our team in Minnesota. You will support the design, programming, testing, and deployment of automation solutions for water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring PLC and HMI systems operate reliably throughout projects.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience, proficiency in PLC programming software, and strong technical documentation and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in PLC programming software.
• Ability to write clear technical documents.
• The ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Thorough understanding of hardware and software upgrade methods for automated systems.
• Competence in planning and executing comprehensive system tests.

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and user graphic interfaces (HMI).
• Participate in analyzing user needs and developing programming plans.
• Conduct testing and market deployment of programmed installations at our clients' sites.
• Assist our sales team in developing costing for bids and service contracts involving automation work.
• Perform upgrades and troubleshoot automated systems as needed.
• Traveling to customer sites to provide onsite support 25% of the time

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $110,000.00 Annually

H 2 O Innovationis seeking an Automation Support Service Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will support the design, programming, testing, and deployment of automation solutions for water and wastewater treatment systems. Working closely with project teams, clients, and field personnel, you will help ensure our PLC and HMI systems operate efficiently and reliably throughout the project lifecycle. This position combines technical problem-solving, system commissioning, and customer support, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

The Day-to-Day
