Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking an Automation Support Service Engineer to join our team. You will support the design, programming, testing, and deployment of automation solutions for water and wastewater treatment systems.

Working closely with project teams, clients, and field personnel, you will help ensure our PLC and HMI systems operate efficiently and reliably throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes 25% travel to client sites, programming PLCs, developing HMI interfaces, testing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in PLC programming software.
• Ability to write clear technical documents.
• The ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Understanding of hardware and software upgrade methods for automated systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capability to plan and execute comprehensive system tests.

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs and HMI interfaces.
• Analyze user needs and develop programming plans.
• Test and deploy programmed installations at client sites.
• Assist sales in costing bids and service contracts involving automation work.
• Perform upgrades and troubleshoot automated systems as needed.
• Travel to customer sites for onsite support about 25% of the time.

In this role, you will support the design, programming, testing, and deployment of automation solutions for water and wastewater treatment systems. The Day-to-Day

• Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and user graphic interfaces (HMI);
• Participate in analyzing user needs and developing programming plans;
• Conduct testing and market deployment of programmed installations at our clients' sites;
• Assist our sales team in developing costing for bids and service contracts involving automation work
• Perform upgrades and troubleshoot automated systems as needed.
• Traveling to customer sites to provide onsite support 25% of the time

The Skills We Are Looking For
