Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking an RSO Project Engineer to plan and execute capital improvement projects across RADs, on-site locations, and Torus hubs. You will develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and manage installations from start-up through handoff, ensuring safety, reliability, and throughput targets.

The role requires Lean/Six Sigma experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to travel approximately 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Project management experience with tools and software.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
• Working knowledge of equipment installation, facility infrastructure, and safe tool use.
• Able to communicate project scope, risks, timelines, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to leverage data to drive decisions and project focus.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 60% travel).

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for automation installations.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment across RADs, on-sites, and Torus hubs.
• Plan installations to minimize downtime and coordinate cutovers with site leadership.
• Coordinate site readiness (power, network, structural, operational requirements).
• Solicit and evaluate contractor and vendor proposals; manage access and schedules.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables; update stakeholders on status.
• Complete commissioning and startup verification to meet throughput targets before handoff.
