Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company in Lincolnton, NC seeks a qualified RSO Project Engineer to plan and execute capital improvement projects across RAD, On-site locations, and Torus hubs. You will drive network performance by onboarding, kick-off, and scaling new business while delivering projects that improve safety, efficiency, and cost.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and strong project-management skills are required, with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong project management experience with PM tools.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
Experience with equipment installation and facility infrastructure.
Strong cross-functional communication with Operations, Safety, Quality, and Management.
Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
Proficient in MS Office.
Willingness to travel approximately 60%.

Responsibilities

Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for material-handling automation and equipment installations.
Lead installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment across RADs, on-sites, and Torus hubs.
Coordinate site readiness and ensure safe, on-schedule execution.
Solicit and evaluate contractor proposals and manage site access and schedules.
Monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables; keep stakeholders informed.
Complete commissioning and start-up verification prior to handoff to maintenance.
