Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking a Project Engineer to plan and execute capital improvement projects across RADs, on-site locations, and Torus hubs. Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets while leading equipment installations with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will work with site leadership and operations to ensure readiness, minimize downtime, and achieve throughput targets. Expect up to 60% travel to support new site starts and closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven project management experience with formal tools.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
• Ability to communicate scope, risks, timelines clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with MS Office and data-driven decision making.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for material-handling automation and equipment installations.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment across RADs, on-sites, and Torus hubs.
• Plan and phase installations to minimize downtime and coordinate cutover with site leadership.
• Coordinate site readiness for safe, on-schedule execution.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables; keep stakeholders current on status.
• Complete commissioning and start-up verification before handoff to maintenance and operations.
