Job summary
Tetra Pak seeks an Automation Specialist to design, implement and validate complex automation projects in Processing by providing technical support to customers. You will be an individual contributor who collaborates on innovative automation projects and ensures compliance with Tetra Pak quality standards.
You can be based in any US office and will travel up to 75% to customer sites. The role requires strong PLC/SCADA/HMI experience and a degree in Industrial Automation or related field, with
Qualifications
- Requires degree in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Robotics Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience programming and implementing automation systems
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley), networks, AS-I Bus, and HMI/SCADA tools
- Experience with SCADA systems and databases (SQL/Oracle)
- Fluency in English and ability to work under pressure
Responsibilities
- Carry out automation remote support, service and start-ups for Tetra Pak Processing equipment
- Prepare and implement upgrades on automation systems
- Work with fault finding on PLCs, networks, IO Servers and SCADA systems
- Collaborate with Service Engineers, Sales Support and customer visits
- Analyze system design and modify HMI, databases and PLC programs to meet project requirements
- Support projects with integration between automation and other systems
