Job summary

Williams is seeking a Technical Specialist II to ensure system integrity and safety of facility equipment and pipeline operations. You will perform routine and moderately sophisticated technical assignments and collaborate with partners to ensure data accuracy and availability.

Responsibilities include project planning, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety policies, with a focus on understanding industry requirements and company procedures. Hybrid/field roles are common in this team.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in technical field and a minimum two (2) years’ experience in oil & gas industry
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or engineering and a minimum four (4) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty
• Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and standard software tools is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and moderately sophisticated technical assignments that ensure system integrity, compliance, facility equipment maintenance and pipeline operations support
• Engages in project planning and collaborates with company partners to ensure accurate and available data
• Develops an understanding of the industry and operating requirements
• Adheres to all Company policies and safety procedures

Education
