Job summary
Kirby Risk is seeking an Automation Specialist to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. You will work with customers and sales professionals to identify, recommend, and support automation solutions that enhance productivity, reliability, and operational performance in manufacturing environments.
You will partner with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to develop and implement solutions, provide technical expertise on industrial controls and automation applications, and support Rockwell
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, EET, MET, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong knowledge of industrial controls and automation systems.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation Software, I/O, and HMI preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and sales teams to understand challenges and recommend automation solutions.
- Provide technical expertise on industrial controls and automation applications.
- Support solutions involving Rockwell Software, I/O, and HMI platforms.
- Assist customers with selecting, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions.
- Support Industrial IoT and connected manufacturing initiatives for efficiency and data visibility.
- Deliver product education and technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and suppliers to identify opportunities and support projects.
- Build strong customer relationships through responsiveness, technical knowledge, and service.
- Stay current on emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
