Job summary

Kirby Risk is seeking an Automation Specialist in Lafayette, Indiana to partner with customers and internal teams to recommend and support automation solutions that improve productivity and reliability in manufacturing environments.

You will apply knowledge of industrial controls, Rockwell software, I/O, and HMI to design and implement effective automation projects while building strong customer relationships and staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in electrical/mechanical tech or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of industrial controls and automation systems.
Experience with Rockwell software, I/O, and HMI is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with customers and sales teams to understand challenges and recommend automation solutions.
Provide technical expertise on industrial controls and automation applications.
Assist with selection, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions.
Support IIoT and connected manufacturing initiatives for efficiency and data visibility.
Deliver product education and technical guidance to customers and colleagues.
