Job summary

Henry North is seeking an Application Engineer-Automation to implement automation systems across customer sites and to support the Solution Engineering Team and partner Application Teams.

This role involves extensive travel (75–90%), both on-site and remote support during implementations, collaboration with suppliers, and ensuring documentation and best practices. A bachelor’s degree is required; Industrial Engineering preferred, with 5+ years in distribution or material handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Industrial Engineering degree preferred.
• 5+ years in distribution or material handling.
• Knowledge of automated systems with focus on Mobile Automation products.
• Knowledge of API and PLC controls; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Self-starter with ownership of all aspects of the role including issues and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites to study and gather information for the system.
• Work with partners to develop complete solutions.
• Maintain expert product knowledge and train others.
• Represent Henry North professionally in meetings.
